1. Who we are
PlatePlanner ("PlatePlanner", "we", "us") is operated by Plateplanner. By using PlatePlanner you are entering an agreement with Plateplanner.
2. Acceptance
By creating an account or otherwise using PlatePlanner you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
3. The service
PlatePlanner generates weekly meal plans and shopping lists tailored to the household size, budget, dietary preferences and supermarket you select. The service is provided on an "as is" basis and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance.
4. Your account
You must provide accurate information, keep your account credentials confidential, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction.
5. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service. In particular you must not: (a) use it unlawfully or fraudulently; (b) send spam or harmful content; (c) infringe anyone's intellectual property rights; or (d) interfere with the security or integrity of the service, including by introducing malware, probing for vulnerabilities, or scraping.
6. Intellectual property
PlatePlanner, including all software, branding and content, is owned by Plateplanner. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for personal household use within your subscription plan. You may not reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the service.
7. Subscriptions, payments & cancellation
PlatePlanner Pro is offered on a monthly subscription at £2.99/month. Payment, billing, taxes, cancellations and refunds are governed by our reseller's Paddle Buyer Terms. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of your current paid period.
8. Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination, your account data may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Notice.
10. Warranties and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Our aggregate liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential or special damages including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited by law.
11. Meal plan disclaimer
Meal plans and prices are estimates for general guidance only. They are not medical, nutritional or dietary advice. Check ingredient labels for allergens and consult a qualified professional for medical or dietary needs.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
